October 25, 2026 — Virgin Voyages has opened bookings for four short Brilliant Lady cruises from Los Angeles in November 2027, including a 3-night Thanksgiving sailing. They are part of a reworked month that cancelled three previously announced cruises.

The new sailings

Departs Length Ports Returns
Sat, Nov 6, 2027 4 nights Catalina Island (Avalon) Nov 8; Ensenada Nov 9 Nov 10
Wed, Nov 10, 2027 3 nights Ensenada Nov 12 Sat, Nov 13
Sat, Nov 20, 2027 4 nights Catalina Island Nov 22; Ensenada Nov 23 Wed, Nov 24
Wed, Nov 24, 2027 (Thanksgiving) 3 nights Ensenada Nov 25 Sat, Nov 27

All four are roundtrips from Los Angeles. The November 20 sailing replaces part of a 7-night Mexican Riviera cruise that was originally scheduled. No fares were published. Guests booked on the cancelled cruises can rebook onto any of the four.

What it means for airline travelers

  • Short cruises suit pass travel. The Wednesday and Saturday departures make it easy to fit a 3- or 4-night cruise around days off. LAX and Long Beach serve the Los Angeles cruise port. Fly in the day before, because Los Angeles loads can be tight.
  • Thanksgiving week is a hard week for standby. For the November 24, 2027 sailing, plan to arrive a day or two early, or buy a confirmed ticket for at least one direction.
  • Booked on one of the cancelled November 2027 cruises? Contact Virgin or your travel advisor to rebook before you change any flights.
  • No travel-industry or interline rate was mentioned for these sailings.
