November 7, 2026 — The opening of The Pyrmont Curaçao, Marriott’s first all-inclusive resort on the island, has moved again: the adults-only, 305-room resort in Willemstad now expects to welcome guests in early December 2026, with some restaurants not following until 2027.
What is happening
Caribbean Journal reported on November 6 that The Pyrmont Curaçao, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, will open in the first week of December 2026 in a phased debut. Caribbean Mag, writing on November 7, described early December as the resort’s third target date: earlier reports pointed to the third quarter of 2026 and then to a November 16 first-stay date.
| Reported date | Target opening |
|---|---|
| January 2026 (Caribbean Journal, as cited by Caribbean Mag) | Third quarter of 2026 |

The resort
- Brand / parent: Autograph Collection All-Inclusive / Marriott International. Owner and operator were not named.
- Location: Oceanfront in the Pietermaai district of Willemstad, Curaçao, a short walk from the historic city center.
- Rooms: 305, including 36 suites, each looking out over the sea or Willemstad. Two restored historic residences, Cerro Bonito and Kas di Pueblo, are part of the property.
- Adults only: Yes (18 and over, per Caribbean Mag).
- All-inclusive: Accommodations, dining, a selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, minibar, in-room dining and nonmotorized water sports such as snorkeling, kayaking and paddleboarding. Scheduled round-trip airport transfers are listed as included. Spa treatments cost extra.
- Pools: Two.
- Coming in 2027: Cerro Bonito, an ocean-view restaurant in a restored residence (early 2027), and Vista Waldeck, a rooftop venue (2027).
Caribbean Journal summed it up: “The December opening introduces the resort; the broader rollout continues into next year.” No new rates were published this week. A September rate check by Caribbean Journal for a November 17 stay showed a city-view king at $692 a night and an oceanfront suite at $1,528 a night, which it called opening-period rates subject to change.
What it means for airline travelers
- Check any November booking now. If you reserved a stay for late November, contact Marriott or the resort to confirm whether it will be honored, moved or cancelled before you commit to flights.
- Expect a soft start. With a phased opening and two venues not arriving until 2027, early guests will see a partly finished product; Caribbean Journal advises confirming any amenity you care about before booking.
- Getting there. The resort is about 20 minutes (roughly 8 miles, per Caribbean Mag) from Curaçao’s international airport (CUR), and scheduled transfers are included. Check current nonstop schedules into CUR before you plan around a specific flight.
- Points and rates. Caribbean Mag says the resort is bookable with Marriott Bonvoy points. Neither report mentioned travel-industry or airline-employee rates.
- Booking timing. Until the resort confirms an exact first-stay date, consider refundable rates and flexible travel dates.
